Dessert Anyone?

I attended a Custards Cooking Class at KCC taught by Chef Mark Silva. He was the one that taught us to make all those delicious cookies!

We were grouped in teams of 2 and assigned a custard dessert to make. At the end of class we all shared the sweet efforts of our labor and took a sample of each! Cousin Janet and I were assigned the Robuchon Tarte. The name scared us, sounding so sophisticated, but to our delight it was very simple and it turned out so delectable, if I do say so myself. We cooked the chocolate filling with milk, eggs, sugar and of course good chocolate! Then we poured it into baked pre-made mini pie crusts that were bought at Hans Weiler Foods. Here is our ‘oh so ono’ Robuchon Tarte garnished with edible Gold Leaf:

Next we have Clafouti and Panacotta:

Drooling yet?? Okay take a look at White Chocolate Creme Brulee and Custard Flan:

These look wonderful. Makes my mouth water. You know me. I’m a dessert-a-holic. Did they taste as good as they look?

    Hi Lindy,
There’s something inconsistent with taking a custard making class and participating in weight watchers. Ah well. I refuse to give up fat or sugar, so there you have it. These all look delectable.
