Wow!! EVERYTHING looks so ono! The presentation of your tomato salad looks so professional...it could have been an ad for a fine dining Italian restaurant!!

Next time when you have a Sunday BBQ...can I come?! (jus kidding!)

I love the red color of those grilled tri-tip steaks. You should try the McCormick Grill Mates Montreal Steak Seasoning. Costco sells a large container of it for just $4.00. If you like the grilled steaks they sell at Foodland, this is da' secret! I like to rub a little shoyu and/or mirin on the steak first to help the seasoning absorb and to help caramelize the outside. I tell you, that Montreal Seasoning is a winner. So easy too. No need chop garlic or anything.. just sprinkle on and throw on the hibachi. Winnahz.

If I had that Basil-Tomato dish, I'd probably like to serve it on some toasted bruschetta. Yum!

We had a super-delicious Crab and Artichoke dip at Ryan's in Ward Center. It was served with toasted Pita triangles. Not sure if they still have that.

oooh, i will try the Montreal seasoning..thanks for the tip! yeah, i LOVE bruschetta too! speaking of costco, they have a new "Meza Sicilian Brushcetta" .. its not bad. it has capers, tomatoes, olives ... chopped small so it won't fall off the little garlic crisps at costco too. i think i would like a little more olive oil and a little basil in it and it would be even better.

i've had that crab dip at ryan's years ago..that was good! haven't been there in years!

from one foodie to another ...thanks for visiting, pomai !
